Joe Frazier

Barry Bonds, no matter how many home runs he pelted, will never be the hero to so many that Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth are.  So it is with Joe Frazier.

The passing of Joe Frazier at age 67 has us all looking back to the classic rivalries between himself, Ali and George Foreman.  Those were real men; they were heroes.  Boxing was a sport that demanded a certain amount of respect, a respect that no amount of UFC titles will ever demand.  Mike Tyson is a beast, I wouldn’t want to cross him.  But he’ll never be Joe Frazier, know what I mean?
