49-1 EKU Blowout

baseball_firstbase49-1, not a good baseball score.  But that was the final score after 5 innings when Eastern Kentucky played Kentucky State.  (It was April 1st, but the score’s no joke.)  KY State actually scored the first run, leading off 1 to nothing.  EKU then scored the next 22 in a row by the end of the fist inning.  Eastern’s coaches then began subbing players, and stopped baserunners from stealing.  All the players behaved with class, and KY State says the game was simply the result of being badly overmatched.  Read the whole story here.
