Pictured are Andrew Fuestel and John Grunsfeld finishing up repairs on the Hubble Space Telescope, while moving around the earth at 17,500 miles per hour no less. This mission was so dangerous for Atlantis and crew that Endeavor was sitting on the launch pad ready for a rescue mission, a first in NASA history. The last space walk was completed Monday, and everything on their list was accomplished. According to NASA, Hubble has never been better.
And now a correction:I previously indicated that the shuttle fleet was down to two, Atlantis and Endeavor. I did manage to figure out for myself that there is a third shuttle, the Discovery.
