That Was Close

One good piece of blog advice I got early on was to find a theme that worked well and leave it alone.  I switched to 3 columns last year, but have pretty much not messed with the design other than that.  Tonight was a close call.  I was about to delete the Funny Foto File  and Cuteness Archive  pages from the top menu.  They are a little too much hassle to update, and the number of pages just looks like too many.  I had actually titled this post Just a Little Tweak, and written that those pages were gone.  But then I checked the stats, and found that those pages drive search engine traffic to this site; a little over 2,000 views for each page since March 2009.  I nearly trashed features that people come to my blog to see.  Oops.

BTW, if you get My Other Blog in a reader (RSS feed) you are missing out on the constantly changing sidebar.  The One Liner box updates frequently, Funny Foto and The Cuteness from time to time.  The news feeds on the right hand side are themselves RSS feeds, and are new each day.  And every now and then, you should pay a visit to my friends in Clicky Links.  Those are the blogs I read.
