NYC City Hall Subway Stop

I’ve never been to New York, but would still like to some day.  I’ve ridden a couple of trams and a passenger train, but never on the subway.  I am a big fan of history, however, and New York City has layers of it underground.  Like some Roman cities of Europe, you’re missing so much if you only see the city above ground.  Which is why I love this pictorial.

The City Hall subway station was built in 1904, and closed in 1945.  Click this link to read more and see all 11 pics at the Huffington Post.  I’m not just saying “here’s a thing that exists” I highly recommend it.  Very cool.
